The UB9-S GEL-DS TRAINER™ 14 is a conceptual reimagining of a performance icon, curated by Kiko Kostadinov Studio in collaboration with the ASICS SportStyle development team. Drawing from the themes of découpage and natural simulacrum, the design reflects the tension and harmony between nature and human-made environments. Layered materials mimic geological textures—fossils, stones, and worn objects reclaimed by the earth—while moiré effects and asymmetric lines bring an abstract edge to the silhouette. A lightweight sole unit with GEL® technology and TRUSSTIC™ support fuses technical comfort with sculptural aesthetics.
